“ Stopped by SusieCakes and had such a great experience! We ordered the carrot cake and wow -- the portion size was generous, definitely enough to share (or keep all to yourself!). The cake itself was super moist and fluffy, and the best part was the frosting -- not overly sweet, just the perfect balance. The ambience was really nice and cozy, and the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. No lines at all when we went, which made everything even better! Highly recommend checking them out if you're craving something sweet but not too heavy. I'll definitely be back! ”

Its a cute spot for-sure but the slices were dry and a lil too sweet IMHO. Will most likely not return bc the cake was non wow. ”

“ Ordered a birthday cake from online from out of state and went to pick up Saturday and it was not what I expected. But! As crazy emotional I was...the staff was amazing and made some adjustments to the cake as I waited. Not once was I met with an attitude or side eye. I was just a mom trying to make her daughter happy on birthday. The cake decorator was so nice and listened and actually made the art deco design prettier and more defined. The staff at the counter and register were kind and offered a treat while I waited. I could go on and on... but basically they turned a not ideal situation better. As someone who has operated a business and lead teams this one here in willow glen is amazing. ”

“ Received a box of mixed cupcakes for a birthday and they were the perfect size. Adorably decorated with an assortment of vanilla, chocolate, and red velvet cupcakes. My personal favorite was the mocha chocolate cupcake, which had a great mocha flavor and didn't seem as sweet as the others. Frosting is very sweet and with a mini cupcake, there's less cake to offset the sweet frosting. If your favorite part is the frosting, then this is the cupcake for you! If you're like me, I had to remove half the frosting in order to eat the cupcake. I'm a minority because both the Hubbs and the Babes thought the cupcake to frosting ratio was perfect. The Babes has already asked when we can get them again so they were definitely a hit! Per the box instructions, I left the cupcakes out overnight in the box they came in rather than refrigerating them and should've placed them in a sealed container because the cupcakes were on the dry side the next day. ”

I got the Strawberry cupcake and it wasn't overly sweet and had really good flavor. I found out they are opening up other locations all over the county with their newest location in Nashville.
